Or at the very least, something turban-inspired…
Ladies, it’s time to take a walk on the wild side. It’s time to try a turban. And you know what, to be completely honest, I actually don’t understand why some tend to think this is so “daring.” When I wear mine, I can definitely tell that my boyfriend wants to say… something, but won’t because he’s… well, because he’s a bit confused by what’s going on. But why?
To me, it all makes such perfect sense. Now that I think about it, I just saw a clip on TV the other night claiming how supposedly shocking it was that Kourtney Kardashian was wearing a turban-esque head ornament (which basically looked like the one I bought last year from Babooshka Boutique on Etsy—LOVE LOVE LOVE—this woman’s been onto head wraps for a while and her styles are on point)… and that sighting was in NYC! Kourtney practically had to defend herself to fashion critics… odd, no?
Anyway, I think that partially thanks to Giorgio Armani’s Spring RTW 2011 collection, and of course partially thanks to the typical celebrity buzz, turbans are quickly and quietly becoming more popular, and I have to say, I am not only a fan because they look cute, but because they 1. Keep your ears warm in the winter and 2. Quite frankly, help you out a bit on a bad hair day.
