VROOOM: LEVI’S 511 COMMUTER JEANS

Guess what, bikers?! Levi‘s has indeed heard your desperate cries for help and has succeeded in creating an awesome pair of riding jeans that won’t sag, tear, or stink after riding around town all day: Levi’s 511 Commuter jeans.

Of course, this perfect blend of practicality and classic fashion comes to you from the most trusted denim company around; leave it to Levi’s to figure out that we bikers love riding in jeans, but we can’t fit our u-locks in our back pockets, or be seen in the dark while we ride. With that in mind, the brand has ingeniously designed a cotton-spandex blend denim that fits like a glove and which includes a special utility waistband to hold our locks comfortably while we ride.

I shouldn’t forget to mention the there is also sewn-in scotchlite reflective tape on the inside bottom cuff of these pants, which makes night rides just that much more enjoyable and worry-free. The high-cut back line also alleviates all your butt-showing worries so you won’t have to wobble around pulling up your pants as you try to ride in rush hour traffic. And wait, that’s not all: Levi’s has also figured out the spots on our jeans that wear out the most from riding and reinforced them (so smart) by using ‘nanosphere’ technology in order to make each pair of commuter jeans ultra waterproof.

FINALLY, all of our bike prayers have been answered–and by the king of the denim gods, no less! This new style has JUST come out, so sign up to receive email notifications via the Levi’s website, which will tell you where and how to pick up a pair of your own, NOW.
