As some of you may or may not know, Philadelphia is quite the hotbed for emerging independent designers, and good ones at that (anyone been to Smak Parlour lately?). Today, I present to you one of my personal local Philly favorites, Mona et June, which was the childhood dream–and now reality–of sisters Elisa Mona and Stella June.

What initially drew me to this line is the seamless integration of both vintage and modern cuts and styling, which is actually a nod to the sisters’ own distinct, yet complementary, tastes. Each piece is designed and handmade by the dynamic duo, save a few carefully curated items hailing from other equally esteemed designers. The look of Mona and June’s current collection is light, fun, and frilly–quite reminiscent of what a girl might wear to a summer night’s fair in the 50s or 60s.

Ahhh… if that glorious vision hasn’t already got you scurrying to their site, get a load of this: Most Mona et June items go for less than 50 bucks.

Yes. AND, you can score an extra 15 percent off site-wide with code FBSPR15So what are you waiting for? Hop-to, lovelies, and grab some cotton candy (our favorite summer accessory) along the way…
