TRENDING: PUNKY POINTERS

I’m guessing you can’t afford those awe-inspiring $995 Christian Louboutin Pigalle pointed flats that got your heart racing out of control, huh? Yeah, bummer… I feel ya.

BUT I WANT A PAIR OF PUNKY POINTED FLATS. What to do?

The good news? ’Tis the season to be wearing, well, pointed flats! And that means OPTIONS. So if you can’t spring for a pair of thousand-dollar shoes (get your priorities straight, mmkay?), allow me to wipe away your tears as I present to you this baby bounty of affordable choices. Let’s get the party started…

1. BCBG Max Azria Gandy Flat; $109 (On sale!)
What do you say we take the Pigalle and shave off about, ohhhhhh, 900 bucks. And PRESTO: it’s BCBG time. If you’re looking for a coy copycat, these would be my ultimate choice.

2. Wanted Star Wars Ballet Flat; $27 (On sale!)
Next level down on the food chain we have this adorable pair from Wanted. They come in both black and black patent… the latter being my preferred pick. Under 30 dollars, Princess Leia-approved.

3. Forever 21 Studded Velvet Flat; $20
Forever 21 to the rescue! Again. You’ve got to love these guys for constantly pumping out quality knock-offs that are so insanely cheap, you find yourself morphing into trend-monster on the regular (there are worse fates). There’s also something special about this look teamed up with velvet too. To avoid overload, F21 sidelines the studs to the back end of the flat, so if a fully-studded shoe is a bit much for you… meet your match.

  1. I LIVE in black pointed flats- and tried on the Louboutin pair at Bergdorf’s a few months ago. *longing sigh*
