1. Don’t jump the gun. There is always that one fashionista out there who pulls out the giant wool scarf on September 1st, when the temperature has just barely fallen below 80 degrees. Do not be her! Wait until the weather is comfortable enough to walk six blocks sporting a scarf… oh, and comfortable enough to keep it on without sweating like a whore in church.
2. Mix it up. Come up with a fun variety of ways to wear your scarf. Get creative with it; there really are no rules for this!
3. Try a bikini instead. If you do not live in a cool or cold weather climate, I am afraid you cannot wear scarves. I’m sorry, it just doesn’t work. You look ridiculous.
4. Invest in some cashmere. The true essential of any scarf collection. Yes, it’s a bit more expensive. Just save up for a few weeks and buy one; it’ll keep you hella warm and, might I add, last forever.
